About me...

I enjoy the freedom of broad brush strokes, creating an atmosphere and fantasy world of my own.

I have a BFA in design from Canterbury University, a Diploma in Visual Communications from The Southern Institute of Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, also from Canterbury. When I'm not painting, I'm teaching in Christchurch high schools.

I have been painting since childhood, always enjoying the process and the indulgence of escaping to my own world through my art. Each work is piece of me, as I include my thoughts and experiences as I travel through this roller coaster of life. My children, relationships, struggles, joys and just people watching are a constant source of inspiration.
